While Luster Lock and Luster Dust are water resistant when combined, please note, the glitter will continue to sparkle in the water! We do not suggest going into the ocean or lake or anywhere where fish might be attracted to the sparkle of the Ink Luster! Pools and showers are just fine! Just remember to gently pat the area dry after getting wet (rubbing it with a towel could take the products off. It’s water resistant not water proof.

Luster Gel will wash off in the water.

Luster Jewels can be fine in the water if put on with Luster Lock that is water resistant. But application will depend on how long they stay.

Luster Gel is washable with simple water or Luster Eraser.

Luster Dust, Luster Jewels, and Luster Lock can be removed with Luster Eraser.

Using a washcloth or rubbing a towel on products will cause it come off. If you are wanting to keep it on, simply pat the area decorated with Ink Luster dry gently.

There are different size brushes to make it convent for different sizes of areas. Depending on the precession or the size will help you decide which brush to use!

Cleaning Luster Brushes is easy! As you done applying, simply grab a Luster Eraser wipe and wipe the brush head back and forth gently on the wipe. Allow to dry for next application.

If brush is slightly wet (not dripping) it can still be used with Luster Dust (holding the glitter easier on the brush) and will Luster Gel.

Luster Gel - Use Luster Brushes and paint on the tattoo where you want to enhance it! (Also safe for face and hair!)

Luster Dust - Use a thin layer (thick won’t make it last as long) of Luster Lock to the tattoo you want to highlight. Using Luster Brushes, dip the brush in the dust color of your choice, and tap it onto the Luster Lock. This will dry fully within a few mins. Remember to clean the Brushes with Luster Eraser when done applying.

Luster Jewels - Use a thin layer of Luster Lock (thick application can make it come off of skin quicker). Use Luster Pen to apply the Jewels easily and without getting Luster Lock on your fingers (this will slow the whole process down and can make it frustrating to apply!). Luster pen helps defy gravity and allows you to pick up one jewel, place over Luster Lock, and even turn pen over to use the other end to move the jewel into the perfect place.

Temp tattoos - place on clean skin you want to put the tattoo on. (This is easier done with two hands! if you are putting it on your arm, some help could be very useful with this one!) Place tattoo on skin, and wet down the tattoo through the paper. A sponge or towel can be used. you don’t want to drench the area…but want to “melt” the paper from your new tattoo after a few mins. give the tattoo a few mins to make sure it’s stuck correctly to your skin! Give it 5 mins to dry. Decorate away with your favorite Ink Luster Products.

If you put Luster Lock over lotion, or put lotion over your Luster Lock/Luster Dust, the lotion can remove the product quicker. If longest wear is desired, avoid lotions over the area when possible!
